Interesting!!
Although we have already said that genius are one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration, sometimes when we talk about "genius" we think of their IQ scores. Well, here I found some really HIGH IQ that surpise me!

I found some interesting info about a very popular person considered one of the most famous genius in History: Leonardo Da Vinci.
The most remarkable aspect of his brilliance was his avid interest and great knowledge regarding several areas and disciplines.
What this article I found proposes is that, probably, one of the most relevant factors of his virtuosity has a close connection with his CURIOSITY.
So, I invite you to think (regarding what can make a Genius) that another possible "vital aspect of achievement" has to do with being curious enough to research, ask and investigate. Perhaps, there is no scientific response, but we can take into account another tentative answer to the question. What do you think?
Here I post the website,

I liked Magali's article. Something important to highlight is that some personalities who were included I didn't know them, and others, as Albert Einstein (the first I thought would be there) is mentioned as someone who people believe is one of the most brilliant scientists but did not make the grade to be mentioned.
Suprising!

I totally agree with Agostina, Curiosity is one of the most important qualities a person should have in order to learn and eventually he/she will stand out in his/her field.
As regards the task given, I consider Frida Khalo a remarkable genius, because she was able to overcome her handicap and become a glorious painter.

Here I found something interesting about a young boy that is considered to be a musical genius! Moreover, it questions our structures/thoughts about what a genius really is!

Hi everyone!! I wanted to share a webpage I found that contains several quotations on Geniuses. I believe some of them are quite significant to analyse in great detail, but as we said the previous class, it would be interesting to include remarkable sayings or quotations to our future essays so as to enrich them.
One quotation that I liked was the following: "There was never a genius without a tincture of madness". This was said by the Greek philosopher, Plato's student: Aristotle. And I think he was really right with this quote because think of Isaac Newton, or Albert Einstein for example...just looking at a picture of him, doesn't he look like a crazy man? with his white and very untidy hair? Maybe not only his appearance reflected madness, but also his ideas were revealed with a personal touch of craziness. I was just wondering that.
Anyway,here goes the link:

Thank you Joana and Belen! good contributions!
Hi there! I found an interesting web page as regards some steps to follow in order to think like a genius. I visited the page when I had to write the paragraph writing and I liked it a lot. For example it says that "There are many ways to classify a genius but you can see one thing they all share in common: they were all able to think in a way different from the mainstream, and thus made connections that no one else did".
I hope it will help you with your writings... Here it goes:
